Create the space with Simple melody & powerful rhythmic impact

Bassist KIYOSHI MAMURA start to play SOLO unit on 2005.
He wants to add ryhthmic impact and flow of the music.
Then 2008 drummer HIROSHI MARUTA join and RHYTHM-A-NING start.
The bass sometimes like voice of the human and it makes variation using by effect macine, and drum beat make the flow of the music.
Repertories ,original tune were played the riff on the bass then expand improvisation like free dialog. And they play some standard tune ,too.
This album"ECHOES OF THE WASTE LAND"is dedicated to 3.11in JAPAN.

ベースとドラムの2つの楽器が、シンプルなメロディーと、強力なるリズムのインパクトで、空間をかたどるユニット”Rhythm-A-Ning”
そのサウンドは、ベースにより奏されるリフの流れとともに、ドラム・ビートが展開するインプロビゼーション。
彼らの音はけっして難解でなく、耳に自然に溶け込む。
まるで二人の会話のようにつづられていく音はスムーズに流れ、やがてスパイラルを起こす。
ベース音は時に人の声のような響きを持ち、エフェクト効果によりそのバリエーションを増す。
ドラムはさらに響きに深みを加えてゆく。
レパートリーはスタンダード・ナンバーからオリジナル・チューンまで。
3.11を経て、満を持してリリースした、”ECHOES OF THE WASTELAND”。
二人の音はこれからも進化を続ける・・・。
